Sims 3 Late Night on Netbook

I have finally installed Sims 3 Late Night on my trusty netbook. Considering my specs, I have to say that the new city which is Bridgeport is not that playable. I guess it’s all because of my netbook’s specs. I only have 1GB RAM when it should have 2GB. The skyscrapers added to the lag, so I had to resort to Sunset Valley and had it revamp for Late Night use. I added bars, lounges, new buildings, etc to compensate for the unplayable Bridgeport.


I’m no fan of vampires, but I really want to see how they work. Ha ha!

I am seriously thinking of getting a new CPU for gaming purposes. But that will cost me a total of PHP13k. Ugh.

Before I end this post, I’d like to share this Sims 3 Late Night Trailer. I really like the song they used — Double Vision by 3OH!3.

Tiny Package

I bought something from Cafepress. I’m not going to say what it is yet, but I’m sure every Hunger Games fan would love to have one! Okay, that was a very good clue. I just hope our local postal office won’t charge me with a ridiculous amount for a tiny package. Tiny — yes, another clue. Ha ha. =) I can’t wait for it to arrive!

Plants War for iPhone, iPad, iPod – FREE

I guess I just found a new iPhone game addiction — Plants War! It’s so addicting! At first, I didn’t get how the game runs, I thought it’s like defending your place just like Plants vs Zombies. But I was surprised that it’s more like the famous game DOTA!

The game is pretty simple. Each level, you have to defend your base. You control the Hero. And make sure smash the other party at the end of every level. You will then be rewarded with gifts such as healing potion, mana potion, resurrection, stat points, leaf and most especially, coins. Each level up of your Hero gives you the chance to level up your Hero’s skills.

You have the choice to upgrade your Hero’s stats or not. You can also purchase a new Hero if you like.

Overall, it’s quite addictive. The first time I played the game, it took me 3-4 hours just playing. My brother can’t even put down my phone! Plants War app is FREE, by the way.

Funny T-Shirts and Slogan

Last week, I was grocery shopping near our place when I saw an old friend wearing a funny t shirt. It really made my day and I immediately pointed it out to my other friend. And because I was so curious as to where he bought it, I approached him and made some small talk and finally asked him where he got it. He told me his uncle from the US gave him the shirt last year for his birthday. Good thing he knows where his uncle bought it. I might order a few funny t shirts for my siblings and friends. =)

These people from How It Should Have Ended are hilarious!!! I’m so thankful they made some of the best movies into their own parody. This is just one of the many they did. Cool Jigsaw Puzzles!

I love playing jigsaw puzzles back in the days. It helps me enhance my cognitive thinking. My brother and I used to check out the daily newspaper for crossword puzzles, check out some websites that features brain teasers or play with this very challenging IQ app game on my iPhone. I really miss the jigsaw puzzle. I remembered my friend who owned a huge jigsaw puzzle of different kinds of flowers and we tried to finish it but we weren’t able to. It’s that really big! I wonder if she ever did it. =D
